drapes this Ulos over the shoulders of the Bride & Groom wishing
them happiness & a large family.
Ikat pattern represents rattan bark a symbol of toughness & longevity. Only woven in South East Toba.

or darkest blue, with hints of purlish/maroon undertones, often beaded
on edges.
